Fractional laser treatment can be performed in our office using topical anesthesia, or nerve blocks and chilled air. Treatment takes about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area(s) being treated. Crusting will separate after 3 to 5 days. Swelling is minimal and generally resolves in about 7 days. The skin will have a pinkish tone for up to one month.

For optimal improvement, a series of 2 or 3 treatments spaced 3mths apart has been shown to be most effective.

Results are both immediate and progressive, with noticeable, beneficial effects accumulating over 1 to 3 months.
